Life in the UK is safe and enjoyable

The UK is a modern first world country; you will receive first class education and enjoy the reassurance of a free healthcare service. There is little crime and the police are helpful, honest and very efficient. Many students choose to extend their stay and make a new life there.

• It's cold outside in the winter, there may be some snow in December to March, so take warm clothes. You will not be cold indoors as heating is provided.
• The cost of living is high (your accommodation maybe php 15 to 30,000 per month) but so are salaries of course.
• You will encounter people of all colors and races – the UK is a very multi cultural society.
• There is a thriving Filipino community in most parts of the UK, especially in London and you will soon make lots of new friends.
• Schooling for your children is recognized as among the best in the world. An English education will give them a great start in life – there is no charge, even books and equipment are supplied free of charge.
• Healthcare is free and in some cases prescriptions are also free.
